It is very well written, with a realistic point of view into a world of manipulation, emotional and physical abuse. It has you hooked right from the beginning with great quotes that are specific to each chapter. The playlist to this story is also brilliant!
I really didn't like at first the main female lead character Michelle. Her weakness just struck a chord with me. However in the story and after speaking with Melissa, her emotional relevance is pivitol to the telling of this tale.
The detail of each character and their interaction in the unfolding of this story is surprisingly discriptive in its simplicity. Tyler is a prick! No ifs buts or maybes about it! Hard to pick at the beginning but when his true personality comes to life in the pages of this read, you truly want to bury this man into the depths of darkness to experience for all eternity the kind of pain he delivers in this story. Baring in mind that he is not as bad as some I have come across, but knowing the background of this character really hits home the kind of person you just dont want any part of.
Then Jax, the total opposite to Tyler! He's sweet, yet alpha'ish with his sexy ways. Attentive, open with his emotions, and protective, regardless of the danger to him.......'SWOON'!
Overall, a very realistic, raw, well told story with more to come! Unbound By His Love 2, here I come!!!

This book tells about a girl that has several self image issues. And she deals with struggles. It also tells story of a controlling boyfriend. The writing is great that the reader can see why some choices were made. The storyline keeps your attention and you want to see what else is going to happen. Very good book and I would and have recommend it.
Unbound By His Love is an extremely thought provoking read. There is so much heart that went into the story a reader is gripped with understanding and compassion for Michelle. Anyone who has gone through physical or mental abuse can relate to the raw emotions in this story. Looking forward to reading part two.
Wow. This is a really great story. The author draws you in with her words and keeps you hooked. This is an emotional story that you will feel and touch your heart. All the pain you will feel and probably relate to as well.
Michelle needs to let go of her past to move forward with her life. She has battles to face and then she meets Jax. A new love forms and hope it grows.
Great job to the author. Such an amazing book and I look forward to the next book in the series
This is a touching and insightful look into the life of a college girl who's dealing with many internal struggles. She's never been treated with love, or respect from anyone in her life, and the pain has been more than she can bare. Someone comes into her life and gives her a glimpse of what love is. You feel the emotions as you take the journey with Michelle and Jax. I think so many can identify with the character in this book. It was so well written, and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
This was my first book by Melissa Ann and I will definitely read more from her.
This book is about Michelle a young girl and who lacks self confidence and has a controlling and abusive boyfriend named Tyler. Michelle is afraid to move on with her life. When she finally does she meets her Prince Charming. Jax is a college student who likes Michelle and is a kind and caring person. We follow along from the beginning of Michelle and Tyler's abusive relationship and then onto one with Michelle and Jax which is the complete opposite. Michelle is afraid that Jax is too good to be true and that she is not good for him. We watch as Jax proves her wrong.
Cannot wait to see what happens with them.

Melissa has done an amazing job of capturing the life a coming of age story.
We meet Michele who is trying to find her way. She is a college student and in a relationship with Tyler. He is a jerk, no question about that. He is manipulative, abusive, possessive, and controlling. He expects her to hold up to his expectation when he feels he doesn’t have to. When we are introduced to him, he is late picking her up after a night of partying and cheating on her the night before. With her in college she finally has some space. Where we meet sexy Jax.
Jax is lovable and everything she needs. He is sweet, sexy, and most importantly the opposite of Tyler. He giver her space and shows her she is worthy, when she feels she is not.
Melissa did an amazing job with this story. It grabs you from the get go and you will not put it down. It is a different type of stories which is a nice change. Warning This book is for readers 18+ years due to content. You have been warned. It’s a story about a women who is learning to cope with her past and get away from the cause. It’s also a beautiful coming of age story. Cannot wait for more.
